Before you invest in their products, you might find it useful to read this Androtics Direct review. This is not a review on any specific product Androtics Direct has to offer – instead, it is a brief history of my experience dealing with them. In essence, a “Androtics Direct Review”.
Before you decide to invest in any of their products, it might be worth reading this post.
At PheromonePro, I’m determined to only bother reviewing the “cream of the crop” so I can save you time, money, and frustration when it comes to choosing pheromone products.
In the future, I will be adding androtics direct reviews on their products, because some do work. So what do I have to say about the actual company?
Let me begin by saying that Androtics DOES in fact offer a few decent products, however, they come at a price – and not just in monetary terms.
This is not just a plain old androtics direct complaint – it’s more in depth and factual than having a whinge on the internet.
I’m going a explore a few different problems with their company that I have not been pleased with over the last 2-3 years I’ve dealt with them.
- Inconsistent Quality
- Constantly “Out of stock” on good molecules
- Undelivered promises
- Lack of innovation
- The “Saving Grace”
1.) Overpriced Products
It’s no secret that pheromones are growing like wildfire, and companies are popping up every day to sell you some new pheromone product.
There is also a handful of pheromone companies that are reputable and price their products competitively. This keeps customers happy, and their business booming. Win-win.
A few years ago, Androtics suddenly decided to jack up their prices significantly even though they were offering similar products. To this day, they have not lowered their prices to maintain any competitive edge.
Here’s an example comparing 3 “communication” enhancement products.
While the actual formula ratios might be slightly different, they all still use 2 primary pheromones which are widely available (alpha/beta androstenol).
- “Instant Honesty” costs a whopping $119.95, and contains 3MG of pheromones
- “True Communication” costs $49.95, and contains 6MG worth of Pheromones
- “ConnectionsXS” costs $34.97, and contains 19.44MG of pheromones
And you can even get single molecules from Liquid Alchemy Labs and make your own for much cheaper!
Androtics Direct claims that their products are superior to their competitors, yet I’ve found no appreciable difference in the quality. All the above products work well, and last a lot longer due to their strength. One of the strangest parts about this company is that they disallow discussion on their pheromone forum, Pherotalk about any competition, instead of encouraging it to stay competitive.
2.) Inconsistent Quality
I first ordered from Androtics Direct in 2010 and got my first pheromone experience. I ordered their flagship product, a314 – did it work?
Yes, and amazingly at that. It wasn’t a serious hobby at the time, and over a few months I realized that it wasn’t a load of crap. This thing was giving me some seriously kick-ass self effects, and it did what the manufacturer said it was supposed to do. I was happy.
The next time I ordered was in 2013, and boy was I disappointed. They quality of the product had gone down significantly. I complained on their forums, and soon enough people were reporting negative side effects too. Anger, irritation, and general annoyance.
The complete opposite of the confident, high status effect it was supposed to achieve.
Once they received the complaints, they took a LONG time to rectify the situation. The manager (I think), John Sebastian, had addressed the issue a few months later telling us that the natural compounds they use in their oil are volatile, and that’s what was causing the negative effects.
However, pheromone users are pretty clever, and this was an obvious distraction from the actual truth. A few weeks later, we were told that their formulator had made an error in production of the product and blamed it on “NLP” (google it).
The formulator had read a sign that read “DO NOT ADD OIL” as “ADD OIL”. He claimed that NLP causes people to do things they’re not supposed to do. I’d believe a kid working at Subway could make an error, not a highly qualified chemical engineer or scientist they employ at Androtics.
I was stunned at how stupid they thought we actually were.
The truth was that the formula had changed (as it had in the past if you read through their forums) – but they refused to acknowledge it which is why it was so infuriating. After all, it is a $100+ product and we deserve some explanation.
The most shocking part is, even though the complaints were pouring in, Androtics Direct happily kept on selling a314 (rev31 in particular), even though they knew there was a problem with it. That was probably the last straw for many of us that were faithful to the product and the company.
After months of pushing, they finally had an exchange program for an updated bottle that wasn’t complete garbage. Rev32 finally came out.
I was very vocal about the problems myself, and got some freebies out of it. Was it to shut me up? I don’t know, but either way I am not a customer any more. I had dropped some Androtics Direct reviews on their own forum to warn others at this point – this was not acceptable.
On a side note, some fellow members on pherotruth and pherotalk have discovered that their “new” bottles of a314, which is supposed to be rev32 (the revision after the shitstorm) had rev31 stickers on them. Could they be selling off bad stock? I won’t be investigating because I’ve already wasted enough time on them.
After the a314 fiasco, I got increasingly sceptical about their product range. People had complained years before I got my first bottle of a314, claiming that it had been diluted down. Then there were complaints about their other hit, an experimental mix call MX297.
I never tried it for obvious reasons.
3.) Constantly “out of stock” on good molecules
This one is probably among the more irritating things about Androtics. Androtics is one of the bigger pheromone companies out there, yet they cannot keep up with the demand. They blame it on these molecules being “precious” and hard to find.
I believe this is propaganda to artificially inflate their prices, and that’s why I’m including it in the Androtics Direct review. While not everyone may find this a big deal, for those of us serious about advancing pheromone technology, this is one major complaint.
One case is the molecule code named “p86”. Many claimed that it had a beautifying, airbrush visual effect on the wearer and those affected. It was in high demand, until it inexplicably went out of stock.
Luckily, pheromone users are pretty smart and through testing steroidal compounds that are viable as pheromones, it was found to be very similar to androstenetrione.
This is just one of many cases.
4.) Undelivered promises
What we have to remember here is that Androtics Direct prizes itself as a pheromone research company. They claim that they LOSE MONEY on certain products. No business goes into business to lose money, so that’s just another load of crap which makes me distrust them – that’s why it’s in the Androtics Direct review, and one of my major complaints with the company.
Anyway, we have to get a “researcher” status by reporting back, to get access to limited mixes (that will supposedly hit the “mainstream” market in the future).
Unfortunately, no matter how many reports there are on experimental molecules and mixes, they NEVER go into production. They NEVER disclose what the ingredient/s are, and they go out of stock.
That means your time spent on Androtics Direct reviews and “research” has no value whatsoever.
5.) Lack of innovation
Androtics Direct has been flogging the same group of products for quite some time now. The mainstream line up for men includes Turn Up The Heat, Ammo, Instant Shine, Instant Gentlemen, Instant Jerk, Instant Openness, and Instant Honesty.
For women, the line up only includes Instant Sexiness a and b.
While other vendors have a proper selection for women, Androtic’s hasn’t bothered to use any of the so called “research” to create bigger and better female products. While piles of research shows up on their forum, none of it has been used to improve, or add to any of the products in the line up – men or women.
They also refuse to use certain pheromones in their products, which include androstadienone and copulins. They do have their negative effects, but so would other pheromones they provide. It’s a step back for innovation, which is what the company is apparently about.
6.) The “Saving Grace”
While these are pretty significant problems, it is true that Androtics Direct products DO work. However, there are far superior products on the marketplace who get things done faster and cheaper, and at a higher quality.
There are vendors who actually listen to and address your problems with no smoke and mirrors.
Androtics Pheromones can be powerful, if you’re willing to pay the price.
I hope you found this Androtics Direct review helpful, and make an informed decision 🙂
P.S. SteveO, a former employee at Androtics Direct has ventured out and created his own line of pheromone products.
My favourite is currently XiSt, but he’s got quite a few which are great replacements for AD products. If you have any Androtics Direct complaints, please leave a comment with your experiences!
